March 28, 2026 Spring Is Springing

 

A few of the Pansy seeds planted last Fall are blooming.

The Creeping Phlox is having at it.  We need more of this in spots more visible from the highway.

The ground covers we planted in the concrete cracks and crannies is starting to take hold.

March APC Meeting

It was a cloudy, windy day but the AMVET Project Committee got a lot done yesterday. I know it always looks like we are just working in these photos, but we are actually absorbing vitamins and nutrients from the dirt and a little sun; talking about plants; getting wind-blown and not carrying how we look in gardening clothes; sharing stories and just having a good time.
